Wow! I found my Poke Place! I haven’t been impressed with the local poke so I ventured out to Hooked on Poke &Sushi! My first impression: easy parking, clean store with indoor/outdoor seating and the best manager that I’ve met in a very long time! I was greeted immediately, served immediately and picked out my bowl from the numerous selections. I liked that they had a variety of different types of drinks not just the standard coke stuff. Now for the food! It looked amazing as you see in my photo so I was excited and starving… it was delicious! Every single bite! The flavors popped, the balance of the sauces to the poke, toppings was just right. It was the most perfect, tasty poke bowl I’ve ever had! Fresh! Fabulous!! Then the friendly manager came over asked about my food and we chatted a bit. I love how he takes pride in his work, the food and the restaurant! Very refreshing! I will return and try the sushi but I may have to try several poke bowls because I can’t get enough! Great value for the quality!

Hooked On Poke is amazing! Every time I get the chance, I eat here. It’s the best spot I’ve found in San Diego area for the perfect balance of taste, quality, and healthy food. Always fresh and delicious — and the owner is really nice and friendly. The only “problem” is the drinks aren’t fountain, haha — but that doesn’t stop me from coming back
